Some things are meant to be kept secret.
Keeping it secret protects it.
It allows it to remain in tact and growing in power.
Certain knowledge, sacred knowledge, is meant to be kept secret in order to keep it sacred. To keep it protected and out of reach.
Then there are other truths/secrets that are not meant to be kept hidden. I'm taking about the dark truths. The ugly truths.
These are not meant to be kept quiet and hidden.
They are meant to be exposed, to be brought out into the light.
So that they can disintegrate into nothing.
To loose their power/their hold over us.
To free us from their hold.
To loosen the shackles of pain.
For those that have experienced trauma, this is what I will say...
The trauma/what has been done to you, is not your fault.
You did not cause it. That lies 100% with the abuser.
But to heal from it, is your responsibility.
To show up and do the work in order to move past it.
In order to return to a state of peace, bliss and love, which is your birthright, is 100% your responsibility.
